Angels Bio:

On Wednesday, October 25, 2017, our beautiful daughter, Autumn Elaine Hermany, lost her brave battle against heroin addiction. She was 22 years old. Autumn was nearing her 6th month of sobriety, but her disease never rested. The disease of addiction knows no mercy and does not discriminate. Please do not think it could never happen to you.

Growing up, Autumn was full of light and life, always smiling, laughing and making others laugh. She enjoyed swimming, soccer, basketball, cheerleading and tennis.

Her battle with depression began in the teenage years. She graduated high school and went on to college to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a marine biologist. She wanted so much to study and work with the great whites. She loved the ocean and every creature it contained.

Unfortunately, during her college years, she was introduced to Percocet, which later became heroin. She began a 2 and a half year-long battle trying to free herself from the hold. During her recovery process, despite several relapses, she fought for her life and never gave up. Those years saw her through five stays in rehabs and countless sober-living homes. She touched so many lives during that time, always worried about everyone else. She wanted to save the world, but forgot to save herself first.

Autumn was especially proud of her family and loved them dearly. Surrounded by six siblings, each vying for her time and attention. She was present for the birth of her newest sibling and even chose her middle name, “Ocean.” She also had two nephews, Ben and Charlie, whom she adored.

Autumn will forever be our first baby, with sunshine and energy in her soul like no one else we will ever know. We pray that she has finally found her peace and has found her eternity swimming in a beautiful sea.

Autumn is survived by her loving parents, Heidi

(Zimmerman) Hermany and Christopher Hermany; Jean and Leroy Zimmerman (maternal grandparents); Matt Zimmerman (uncle); and siblings: Noah, Magnolia, Ella, Brecken, Acadia and Tallulah “Ocean” Hermany.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. in St, Paul’s Lutheran Church, 50 Luther Drive, Mertztown, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Autumn’s memory to Brandywine Heights Community Task Force, 200 W. Weis Street, Topton, PA 19562.

My son Danny, was an addict for 22yrs. He fought hard trying to break away, but he would always get sucked back into it. He started using when he was 14 yrs old. And that change my life as well as everyone who loved him.
Danny was a gifted child, smart, funny, loving and kind. He could play guitar or just about anything musical you put in his hands. He has a true gift that way. He said he didn’t fit in, I never understood that, he was good looking, smart and talented. So what was the problem?
I miss him every single day.. I miss his smile, his laugh, his hugs, our long conversations about life. He was doing so well, then he relapsed and died. Shattered all of our lives… I miss him so much.

DOD: May 18, 2017

Angels Bio:

Reghan was born on Sept, 13, 1994 at Greenville Memorial. She attended Riverside Middle and High School. Reghan leaves behind her loving mother Jennifer and step dad Brian, as well as her biological father Rick Berry. She also leaves behind Jacob and Abigail Woodward, James and Wesley Woodard and Richie Berry, as well as, her maternal grandmother Marguerite Cannon, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Let’s continue to remember the Reghan we all knew and loved!

For many years she fought a heroic battle with addiction. She had been sober a little over two weeks but her disease still had a powerful hold on her. We wish she had recognized the beauty and strength that everyone else saw in her. It has been many long, hard, and agonizing battles for the last 4 years and she fought like a warrior every step of the way. Addiction, however, won the war. To the person who doesn’t understand addiction, she is just another statistic that chose to make a bad decision; a very uneducated statement indeed, but none the less that is what they will say, along with some other hurtful statements. We don’t care though, because for people who do understand, this is our baby, our oldest, our child, our daughter and my everything. She was a sister, a niece, a granddaughter, a friend, a cousin, a human being with an addiction. She turned to drugs to make her feel normal like everyone else. Heroin told her “I can make you feel accepted, I can make you feel alright, I can make you feel worthy, I can make you feel normal, I make you feel loved and I can make you feel nothing and make you feel like everything will be okay.” What it didn’t tell her was how it would devastate her family and tear it apart, take her job and leave her penniless, take her home and make her homeless. How it would take her sparkle and smile, how it would take her humor and how it would take and take and take until it took her life. We need to talk and educate the world about this epidemic. My prayers worked and my baby girl may not be here physically, but she is working miracles from Heaven. She could not make me more proud. I love you my Reghan girl. Shine down on all of us and keep working those miracles from Heaven. Reghan never judged a person in her life and opened up her heart to everyone.

A memorial service will be held at Mackey Mortuary, Greenville, SC on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 7:00 PM. Online guest registry at www.mackeymortuary.com

Delaney Marie Farrell

Angels Info

Name: Delaney Marie Farrell
Age:  23
Location: Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania
DOD:  July 1, 2017

Angels Bio:

Delaney Marie Farrell, 23, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017, in Williamsport, after a long and hard battle with drug addiction.
She was born in Nyack, N.Y., a daughter of Brian J. and Bridget M. (Ryan) Farrell on July 13, 1993.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her older sister Anastasia and younger brother Dillon; two nephews; Antonio and Angelo Manha, as well as her grandparents; Mary Farrell, and Ruth and Ed Ryan, all of Selinsgrove. She will also be sadly missed by her 15 aunts and uncles, along with 15 cousins and many, many old and dear friends, including 4,953 Facebook friends!
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Patrick Farrell; and her grandfather, Thomas J. Farrell.

Delaney was a 2011 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School and was most recently employed at the Red Roof Inn, Williamsport, which is where she was when God decided it was time for her to come home.
If there was one word to describe Delaney, I’m sure everyone would agree that it would be “funny”. Delaney loved to laugh and make people laugh. She would always make jokes, stupid remarks and facial impressions, which would get those around her roaring, even in the most serious of moments.
Delaney was also known for her love of oreo cookies. This addiction started in the third grade during her special reading class. Every time she read a sentence correctly, she received an oreo. Needless to say, Delaney loved to read and read often; however, even with no books around, Delaney could be found eating oreo cookies by the dozen. While holding 3-4 cookies at a time, she would dunk them into a big glass of milk to soften, and shove them all in her mouth at once. Ironically, at 23 years old, she never had a cavity.
She loved social networking and was usually found posting selfies on Facebook. She was absolutely beautiful and had a singing voice to match. Another hobby of Delaney’s was writing. When she was younger, she would often write silly stories about her family or her beloved pets, including her many dogs, cats, rabbits, squirrels, horses and even a llama.
Delaney would also write in her journals or on just random pieces of paper; some were private but some she would share. She forwarded one of her last entries to her sister, which depicts the pain and suffering that she was enduring throughout this horrific drug epidemic that has affected so many families in this country. Her soul is finally at peace.

“Funny, I don’t remember no good dope days. I remember walking for miles in a dope fiend haze. I remember sleeping in houses that had no electric. I remember being called a junkie, but I couldn’t accept it. I remember hanging out in abandos that were empty and dark. I remember shooting up in the bathroom and falling out at the park. I remember nodding out in front of my sisters kid. I remember not remembering half of the things that I did. I remember the dope man’s time frame, just ten more minutes. I remember those days being so sick that I just wanted to end it. I remember the birthdays and holiday celebrations. All the things I missed during my incarceration. I remember overdosing on my bedroom floor. I remember my sisters cry and my dad having to break down the door. I remember the look on his face when I opened my eyes, thinking today was the day that his baby had died. I remember blaming myself when my mom decided to leave. I remember the guilt I felt in my chest making it hard to breathe. I remember caring so much but not knowing how to show it. and I know to this day that she probably don’t even know it. I remember feeling like I lost all hope. I remember giving up my body for the next bag of dope. I remember only causing pain, destruction and harm. I remember the track marks the needles left on my arm. I remember watching the slow break up of my home. I remember thinking my family would be better off if I just left them alone. I remember looking in the mirror at my sickly completion. I remember not recognizing myself in my own Damn reflection. I remember constantly obsessing over my next score but what I remember most is getting down on my knees and asking God to save me cuz I don’t want to do this no more !!! ” Delaney Farrell

Sadly for us, but lucky for her, God was listening and answered her prayers. Now she is no longer in pain, and is flying free.

Friends and relatives are invited to call from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 4.
