Angels Bio:

Julia Lytle Haynes, 40, passed away September 25, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Mary Lyda and Mike Lytle. Julia is survived by her son Bentley Haynes, daughter Maya Haynes, father Mike Lytle, stepmom, Cindy Lytle, sisters Briana Gilliam (Paul) and Kenzie Guzman (Chris), brother Daniel Wood (Brittany), and longtime friend, father of her son and once husband Darin Haynes, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Julia was very spiritual, believed in Jesus Christ and the promise of eternal salvation. She was filled with an abundance of kindness and generosity towards others. She loved the outdoors, coffee, pumpkin anything, beaches, and butterflies. Above all, she loved her children and family.

Julia was a strong willed young lady who tried to fight addiction her way but ultimately lost the battle. This beautiful, bright woman was taken from us all way too soon. We will love and miss her for the rest of our lives. It is the family’s hope and prayer that the cruel disease of addiction will trend toward a broader degree of understanding and de-stigmatization; that a sense of urgency will be brought to this brutal health crisis affecting so many families.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you discuss the devastating effects of addictive opiates and heroin use with the children in your life. In honor of Julia’s memory, please contact your local legislators to advocate for an increase in funding for addiction treatment and prevention. A celebration of life will be held in late October.

Angels Bio:

William Cliffton Carroll Bullock passed away in the mountains in Asheville. He was an avid sportsman and spent most of his life outdoors hunting and fishing or playing at the beach with family and friends. The only thing larger than his 6’4″ frame was his heart of gold. He always was ready to laugh and was known to hug complete strangers. He was a sweet son to his mother Carson Reid and father Alvin Bullock (Julie) and a caring fun brother to his sister Amy Bullock Bush (Byron) of Raleigh. He was a devoted grandson to the late Pat and Bill Reid of Memphis, TN and Rachel and Dick Tilley of Lumberton. He was greatly loved by all his aunts and cousins. As big and strong as Cliff was he became a victim of the heroin epidemic that has swept our nation. Pray for Cliff and all of those people who are victims of this horrible drug. Cliff’s life will be celebrated on Wednesday, 8/3, at 11:00 a.m. Hayes Barton United Methodist Church, Five Points, Raleigh, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Biltmore Housing, Inc., 11 Thurland Ave. Asheville, NC 28803.
