Heaven received a new angel on April 26, 2017. Our beautiful girl was taken from us by Heroin. After 6 days on life support Raiven was unable to be saved. But because she was an organ donor, she will be able to give at least 7 people a chance to live. Raiven was born on March 5, 1996 and was the daughter of the late Natalie (Vaupel) Santiago and Frederick Douglas. In addition to her father and his wife Melissa, Raiven is also survived by her siblings, Jordan Douglas, Brittany Lee, Gia Santiago, Jaden Waughtel, and twins, Jagger and Larkin Douglas; grandmother, Billie (Velencia) Vaupel with whom she lived; Aunt, Jennifer Vaupel who helped raise her; uncle, Jeffrey Vaupel; nephew, Jayvion Douglas; cousins, Tyler and Madison Vaupel; step-grandparents, David and Melva Bowers. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Frederick Vaupel, paternal grandparents, Frederick and Pauline Douglas, and her infant brother Darian Vaupel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 20 Locust Street, Steelton, PA. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held at 12:00 noon until time of services in the church. Memorial contributions may be made in Raiven’s name to The Humane Society of Harrisburg Area Inc., 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111. K.M.
