Stephen Michael Marinari Jr. 35, died suddenly at his home in Swedesboro NJ, early Tuesday morning. Born in Ridley Park, Stephen was a devoted father and a loving fiancé.
He enjoyed landscaping, listening to ICP and was an avid hat collector! In his spare time Stephen restored Jordan’s which he also collected. Stephen was a diehard Eagles Fan and known for his twisted sense of humor, he could make anyone laugh even when they didn’t want to.
Stephen and his dad enjoyed doing yard work and laying carpets.
The bond Stephen had with his mom was like no other.
He was a deeply devoted father and loving fiancé. Stephen was excited to soon become a husband with the love of his life, Nancy Hamel.
His compassion and kindness to others made him stand out.
He was the light of all of our lives and his son, Nicholas, was the light and love of Stephen’s life. He would do anything for Nicky, including dressing up as Spider-Man for Nicky’s Birthday.
Survived by his mother Janet Matthews Marinari and his father Stephen M. Marinari, Sr.
his son, Nicholas Marinari, his fiance , Nancy Hamel, maternal grandparents, Francis and Ethel Matthews, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John and Viola Marinari, his aunts, Anne Barr, Colleen Matthews and his cousin, John Matthews, Jr.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:30 am at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service, 202 S. Chester Pk, Glenolden
Visitation will be Monday 10-11:30am at the funeral home
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
