Name: Schuyler Nicole Roberson
Location: Lawsonville, North Carolina
Lost The Battle: April 14, 2022
Schuyler Nicole Roberson, 24, of Lawsonville, crossed into the Summerland on April 14, 2022, after an unintentional drug overdose. She was born May 10, 1997, to Tamatha Adkins-Ford and Kevin Roberson. After graduating from high school at the North Carolina School of the Arts, where she studied the bassoon, she attended Surry Community College. She left behind a 5-year-old son, Edvard Boggs, her mother Tamatha Adkins-Ford, her step-father Thomas Ford, her father Kevin Roberson, step-mother Holly Roberson, grandparents Linda and John Adkins, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her life-long friend Makayla Sands. She was a beautiful, vibrant, intelligent young woman with many goals and talents. She loved frogs, hedgehogs, reading, and watching animated shows and horror films. Unfortunately she fought against mental illness and drug addiction demons for several years and she sadly lost that fight. A private memorial service will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Friends of Stokes Shelter Animal Adoption Center, 1111 Dodgetown Road, Walnut Cove, 27052.Published by The Stokes News from Apr. 20 to Apr. 21, 2022.
