Richard James Beggs passed away unexpectedly at the age of 26 on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
A graduate of Pencader Charter High School, class of 2010, Richie was a loving and kind hearted young man who possessed a witty sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh and aspired to be a stand-up comedian. His sense of compassion and empathy was admired and appreciated by everyone who had the privilege and pleasure of knowing him. Richie will be deeply missed by so many.
He was predeceased by his twin brother, John S. Beggs; his maternal grandparents, John J. and Regina A. Turner; his paternal grandfather, Gordon R. Beggs.
Richie is survived by his mother, Patricia Turner; his father, Gordon Beggs; his brother, William I. Myers; his sister, Caroline C. Beggs; his sister, Kelly L. Myers; his nephews and nieces, Derrick Myers, Desiree Myers, Savion Myers, Jazmin Maddy, Kingsley Maddy; his paternal grandparents, Diana and Charles Moore; his aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom he loved dearly; as well as many dear, cherished friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington on Monday, June 25 from 10:00-11:45AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00PM, followed by interment in All Saints Cemetery.
