She was my partner in crime, if I was skipping school, you better believe she was right there with me, if she’s fighting, I’m fighting. But she was also my secret keeper, my twin flame, my shoulder to cry on, my strength, she was MY person.
I miss the way things were before she started doing drugs. I miss the way she would smile and it was as blinding as the sun. If she loved you, she would do anything for you. I miss how easy it was to make her laugh. I miss the inside jokes, I miss getting home after classes and waiting for her to get off work, and we’d eat pizza, and watch TV, and talk and laugh, or sometimes cry. I miss her being my best friend. I never stopped loving her, and I never will.

Miranda K Byrum, 34, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 14, 2018.
Miranda was born on August 31, 1983 in Indianapolis, IN to George Shannon Byrum and Joanna (Martin) Jones. Miranda was very social, she loved keeping up with her family and friends on Facebook when she wasn’t spending time with them in person. She was the type of person who was always smiling, and always happy. She liked to go on long walks. Miranda enjoyed getting glammed up, doing her makeup and nails. She was a talented nail technician.
Miranda is survived by her son, Jalen; her grandson Jalen Jr; her parents George and Susan Byrum; her grandparents George and Teresa Byrum; her siblings Tommy, David, Josh, Joseph, and Shannon; the father of her son, Eric Beasley; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Miranda is preceded in passing by her mother, Joanna Jones.
