Angels Obituary:

Makaylin passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the age of 17. She was a resident of Iberia Parish and a native of West Baton Rouge Parish. Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen on Monday, May 30, 2016 from 5 to 9pm and will resume on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 9am until religious services at 1pm, conducted by Pastor Ray McDonald. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery, Brusly. She is survived by her mother, Misty Altazan; step fathers, Randy Garvin and Rauman Laurent; father, Randy Mendoza; sister, Kristian Mendoza and fiancé Jeremy Cobb; brother, Brennan Mendoza; grandparents, Ernest “”Booboo”” and Missy Altazan, Sherry Boggs Cline, and Lisa Garvin, Randy “”Saint”” Sanchez, and Gray and Nanette Mendoza; great grandmothers, Mary Duhon; aunts, Abby “”B”” Altazan, Chantel LeJeune, Cassie Richard, and Melody Collie; uncles, Ernest “”Trey”” Altazan, III, Philip Simon, Gregory Parks and Sawyer Laurent and wife Brittany; godparents, C.W. and Crystal Woodward; numerous family and friends.
