Makaila Olivia 
Miller Bell 
aka, Maggi Gabel, from Eugene, OR, died at age 20 years on July 12th, 2018 from an accidental opiate overdose. She had also lived in North Bend, Coos Bay and Cottage Grove. 

Makaila was born on December 30, 1997 in Eugene to parents Cheri Ronan (Miller) and Christopher Bell. She is survived by brothers Jayden, Joe and Jacob, Grandparents Theresa McCoy and Steve & Diane Bell, Aunt Gina (Jeff) Martin and cousins Lilli and Roland. Preceded in death by her grandfather Paul Miller.

Makaila graduated from Al Kennedy Alternative High School. She was excited about starting at Lane Community College in the fall where she planned to study psychology so that she could utilize her life experience to help troubled youth.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday July 28th, 2018 at Schwarz Park in Cottage Grove. Potluck will begin at 3p with story sharing and a slideshow at 6p. Camping is encouraged. There will be no charge for camping, a group site is reserved.

Makaila will be remembered for her honesty and persistence. She had worked hard to change her life and was looking forward to the future. Our family is eternally grateful for the time we were given with her, she will never be forgotten.
