OBITUARY:
Kevin Daniel Hubert
1982 – 2017
WATERVILLE – Kevin Daniel Hubert was born June 9, 1982. He passed away Dec. 15, 2017. His death was not unexpected to me. It wasn’t if it was going to happen, it was when, but Kevin is at peace with his soul now. The demons are gone forever. May God hold his child in his arms until I come to heaven and hold him again in my own arms.
Kevin’s life started as a challenge at Maine Medical Center, Portland. He rose above that and grew up always with a smile on his face. His smile was infectious and loving. He was always joking around and kidding people. He loved people and would do anything for anyone.
Kevin loved the outdoors. We spent 10 years in the summers at Pleasant Point Campground in Oakland. He enjoyed special trips with his Mammie and Popo Tibbetts to Jackman, fishing of course. He also spent time with Bill Robbins and Jordan on Rum Pond. He was very passionate about catching turtles, fishing, boating and loved to hunt as well. He enjoyed bonfires and still had them at our home. Man he could build a great bonfire.
Kevin passed his knowledge of fishing to his son Jordan and to Jordan’s friend Seth Radel.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Red and Eva Hubert and Alcius T. Corson, Jr.; great-grandparents, Bill and Alice Ricker; and his aunt and uncle Ray and Jean Herard; also his second dad, Richard Leclair.
Kevin is survived by his mother Diane Hubert, father and stepmom, Dan and Sue Crist Hubert of Waterville; his loving sister, Danielle A. Hubert and friend, Raymond Thomas of Ruther Glen, Va.; and the apple of his eye, his son Jordan D. Hubert; his grandparents, Marjorie and Norman Tibbetts of Waterville; and several aunts and uncles. He also leaves behind his very close and dear friend, Kevin Foye of Oakland and his good friends Mark Bard and Jeff Quirion, Sr.
Kevin has left a lot of sorrow behind for people that knew and loved him. We will keep his memory alive forever.
