Angels Obituary:
Justin Stephen Crosson-Curran, 29, formerly of Iron Mountain-Kingsford, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 25, 2017 in Ann Arbor, MI.
Justin was born February 25, 1988, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain, MI. He attended schools in Kingsford and graduated from Iron Mountain High School, and was recently seeking to pursue a degree in law.
He was employed by Pipeliners Local Union 798 and had traveled while working to North Dakota, Florida, Ohio, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, and Michigan. Along the road, he was home wherever he went, opening his arms to all he met, fishing, serenading friends with his guitar, feeding the hungry, and touching lives of others. He met Natasha Johnson, the love of his life, in Denver, CO, and they were inseparable from the start. The two planned to marry and raise a family. Justin loved animals of all kinds and had a soft heart for rescues. He had an eclectic taste in music and was a talented guitarist and singer. He was a foodie and an accomplished chef. Justin was an avid reader; he possessed an insatiable need to learn, as well as a photographic memory. He was active in yoga, meditation, and weight training.
He will be terribly missed by all whose life he touched. He is survived by his mother, Marcia Crosson (Randy Brault) of Iron Mountain, and father, Keith and Sarah (Seppi) Curran of Appleton, WI. Maternal grandparents are Michael and Charlene Hunt of Kingsford, and paternal grandfather, Nick Paoletti III, of Menominee, MI; and Vic and Joann Seppi of Iron Mountain. He leaves four brothers, Alex Crosson of San Francisco, CA, Andrew Crosson (Brittnee Milbrath) of Vulcan, MI, Andrew and Will Curran of Appleton, WI. He also is survived by his twin sisters, Kaitlyn and Amber Henderson, both of Milwaukee, WI. Justin had one niece, Adalynn Crosson of Vulcan, MI. Aunts and uncles include Kevan and Jessica Curran of Dayton, OH; Kandace Curran of Stephenson, MI; Caroline and Keith Graves of Brodhead, KY; Stefanie Hunt of Decatur, GA; and Kim and Hobie Stamper of West Bloomfield, MI. He will be especially missed by his significant other, Natasha Johnson of Ann Arbor, MI. He is survived by numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly. Justin was an old soul, a dynamic force with a complex mind and loving heart.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Michael Curran, Rochelle (White) Paoletti; great grandparents, Leonard and Evelyn Thompson; great grandmother, Gladys Mullins; and his uncle, Dominick Cianfarani.
Erickson, Rochon, & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be observed on Saturday, December 2 from 2-4 pm, with services at 4 pm with Pastor Geri Hamlen officiating. A light supper will follow at Trinity United Methodist Church in Iron Mountain.
