Passed away Monday, October 14, 2019  

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Curtis; maternal grandfather, J.R. Crittenden; paternal grandparents, Walter Paige and Louzelle Melton Curtis.  He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents,

   Gary and Joy Crittenden Curtis of Riceville

Five sisters and three brothers-in-law,

   Tabatha and Eric Price of Riceville

   Amber and Brent Jones of Decatur

   Kristi and Larry Mingledorff of GA.

   Tiffany Shields of Athens

   Lacey Curtis of Athens

One brother,

   Gary Dean Curtis of Riceville

Maternal grandmother,

   Ruby Vaughn Crittenden of Athens

15 nieces and nephews, 1 great nephew

Funeral services will be 7 pm Thursday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Scallions officiating.  Burial will be 1 pm Friday in McMinn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Rylan Oliver, Devin Price, Dekota Curtis, Greg Shepherd and Tony McElhaney. Honorary pallbearer will be Gary Dean Curtis.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
