OBITUARY:

Dustin (Dusty) Max Lunt, 47, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, November 14, 2017, in Ogden, Utah. He was a beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother, son, and uncle.

He was born October 14, 1970, in Ogden, Utah, a son of Dorothy Moffat Lunt and Max Loraine Lunt. He was a member of the LDS Roy 7th Ward. He grew up in Roy, Utah and attended Roy High School, where he later graduated in 1988.

He married Jody Liane Jepson on June 9, 1990, in Ogden, Utah and had two daughters, Madison Lunt and Taigan (Lunt) Pollard. They were later divorced but remained good friends.

His first job was milking goats while in school. After graduation, he worked for Smiths Warehouse. His other jobs included car detailing, fencing, manager, and being a car salesman for various car dealerships, including Lunt Motors.

From a young age, Dusty was always full of life. He enjoyed sports, camping, golfing, boating, fishing, and being outdoors. He loved the thrill of four-wheeling in his jacked up blue Toyota truck with all of the Roy Boys. He was also known for creating his own rap songs and being a pretty good break-dancer.

His love, humor, and contagious smile will be dearly missed by all of the countless lives he’s touched throughout the course of his life.

He is survived by his three daughters, Madison Lunt (27), Taigan Pollard (25), and Shambrae Dawn Terkelson (22); one brother Jason Lunt; three sisters, Tricia Hall, Toni Lunt Huskey, and Marsha Lindgren; five grandchildren, Haizen, Zaeden, Dawson, Layken, and Lincoln; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Moffat Lunt, father Max Loraine Lunt, and brother Michael James Lunt.
