Chase had the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever known. He was truly a beautiful person, inside and out. His ambition was to be a pastor and help others, but in the end he wasn’t able to overcome his addiction. Heroin may have won in this life, but I know he is now free from the addiction he hated so much. I’ll love you forever, Chase.

Chase Reeves, age 25 of Moody, AL passed away on March 15. He is survived by his daughters, Skyla and Raelyn; mother, Gena Letitia DeBardelaben; father, David Mitchum Reeves; sister, Erin Black; brother, Cody Reeves; grandparents, Betty Teague, William C. DeBardelaben, Charlotte and Jim Bland. Services will be held on Thurs., March 20, at 12pm at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
