ABOUT ME:
Andy was my best friend the last year of his life. I met him when I relapsed and started using heroin for the first time and he had struggled most of his adult life but he was different than the rest bc he always encouraged me to get clean and he protected me a lot from the dark side of that kind of addiction. I went to detox and he went and used and 2 weeks later he was gone and I have a lot of guilt from that but even though we only knew each other a little over a year we spent every day together of that year and he was such a sweet guy. He tried so hard to help everyone else but yet he couldn’t save himself bc he didn’t think he was worth it but he so was! My favorite thing about Andy was how he always made me laugh. Even in the dark world we were lost together in we were always laughing and I stay clean for him and I miss him every second of every single day
