dyson (Addie) was born on September 4, 1992 in Irvine, CA and passed away on January 15, 2019. She loves adventures and anything with an element of risk. During her stay on earth, she loved surfing, boating with her family, art, tattoos, and helping those less fortunate than her.

Her need for risk led her to experimentation with drugs and eventually the drugs took control. She battled her addiction, but couldn’t overcome it. After a period of sobriety, just when a person is most susceptible to overdose, she accidentally took more than her body could handle. Yes, she did a lot of the things usually associated with drug use, but before that, she was the little girl who accepted Jesus as her savior. Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 5:8 – “But God demonstrates His own love towards us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

She has moved into eternity and the presence of Jesus sooner than we desired, but as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we know that she is now dancing with Him. Her family loves her dearly and we will miss her tremendously, but look forward to seeing her again.

2 Corinthians 5:1-8 – “For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, if indeed by putting it on we may not be found naked. For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.”
